Michael James Cuccione was born on January 5, 1985, in Burnaby, British
Columbia.
He passed away on January 13, 2001, eight days after his sixteenth birthday,
the result of a long illness.

Only 9 years old, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, a form of cancer.

Michael's big acting break came in 2000.  MTV was casting for the boy-band, Toge+her.  He played the cute, duey-eyed youngster, Q.T. McKnight.

 In December of 2000 Michael and his
mom were in a minor car accident. As a result Michael was admitted to the
hospital on December 4 for abdominal pain. He soon developed pneumonia. He
remained on a respirator until "his lungs just gave out,".
